Convex glass explosion-proof LED light is a lighting fixture designed for safe operation in hazardous environments where there is a risk of explosion. These lights are commonly used in industrial settings such as chemical plants, refineries and mining operations.
Explosion proof luminaires feature a durable, shatterproof glass enclosure capable of containing any explosion that might occur inside the luminaire. Glass is usually tempered or laminated, which provides extra strength and safety.
LED light sources are highly energy efficient and emit very little heat, making them ideal for use in hazardous environments. The LED bulbs are housed in a protective case that can also withstand any potential explosion.
